A Record-Breaking Month!


In April, we funded 444 mortgage files, with a total volume of $223,302,902. That’s more than we did in our entire first year, when we funded 441 files for $208,362,228.


This amazing growth shows just how strong our team is and how rapidly BRX Mortgage is growing.


As we get ready to celebrate our 4th anniversary on August 1, 2025, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come in such a short time. And May is shaping up to be another big month!


What Happens When Mortgage Brokers Crash a Real Estate Conference?


Every 90 days, Denise and I meet in person to plan out our next quarter. 

Normally, we pick somewhere like Toronto, but this time we went with Montreal—and added a twist. 


We extended our trip by a couple of days and invited our agents to join us at EXP Con, one of the top real estate conferences.


Why a real estate event? 


Because they tend to have better sales and marketing training than most mortgage broker events. 


Plus, it’s full of realtors—aka perfect referral partners for our brokers. 


We weren’t just there to learn—we were there to build relationships.


And instead of showing up with yet another boring booth, we did something different. We all arrived wearing custom-made BRX Kicks—Nike shoes in our company colours and bearing our BRX logo. 


Those shoes turned our agents into walking billboards. 

They sparked a ton of conversations and made us stand out in the best way.

Bottom line? 


Our agents walked away with great training, new connections, and a better understanding of how to grow their business. 


Sometimes you get the best outcomes when you do things a little differently.
