One of my business heroes is Charlie Munger. I recently finished his amazing book, “Poor Charlie's Almanac.”
Charlie was Warren Buffet’s business partner for 60 years.
The book is jam packed full of amazing wisdom Charlie learned on his way to becoming a Billionaire.
One tactic he recommends if you are trying to solve a problem is to invert and try to create the opposite outcome.
For instance, when he was a meteorologist during the war his job was to prevent pilots from dying.
In order to accomplish goal Charlie inverted the problem and instead made a list of all the ways he could kill as many pilots as possible. (Sounds a little morbid)
He then promptly worked to do the exact opposite of his list.
Pretty clever right?
I decided to apply this to the mortgage business. I came up with 3 things I believe would kill any mortgage brokers biz.
