If Apple opened a coffee shop…

We did an exercise recently on a mindset call.

Simple question.

If you had unlimited money, what would your coffee shop look like?

Not optimized for profit.

Not copying anyone else.

Just yours.

What’s the first thing you notice when you walk in?

What does it feel like?

How do they take your order?

What are people saying about it?

Some people answered right away.

One broker described it in detail.

You’d choose your beans.

Watch your coffee being made.

Everything intentional.

Everything elevated.

It was clear.

Then I sat there thinking about my own answer.

I wasn’t as clear.

And that was the insight.

Most of us do not actually know what our brand feels like.

We borrow pieces.

We copy what we see working.

We blend in more than we think.

But the brokers who stand out are not louder.

They are clearer.

You know what it’s like to work with them.

You know how they think.

You know what they care about.

And that shows up in everything they do.

Their content.

Their conversations.

How they structure their business.

Because your brand is not your logo.

It is the experience people have when they interact with you.

That exercise probably said more about my brand than I realized.
